Have you ever seen a platypus in the wild? How about a water dragon? We probably know the answer to both of those questions already. As Sydney gets larger and pushes further into the bush, we are increasingly forcing our unique native wildlife to live alongside us. Some species have adapted brilliantly, while others have struggled.

Follow Alex and Lucy as they try to understand how we can live alongside our native fauna as we work to accommodate for our growing human population. Speaking with Sydney locals and conservation experts, they learn more about how urban development has affected our wildlife as well as some strategies to help them.
