Fitness is something that only works when consistency is part of the plan. With lockdown coming to an end and all the gyms in NSW finally starting to open back up, we delve in-to how people had to adjust their workout plans and maintain accountability through the lockdown.

2SER guest reporter’s Samuel Lumley and Lucas Bigeni sat down and discussed this topic with relatable and realistic guests to gain insight on this matter.

As the end of lockdown has finally arrived and normality is being restored, we decided to reflect upon the long and strenuous period we all endured.

On this week’s episode, the theme of the program is how our guests have been working out and maintaining fitness during lockdown.

Motivation is the driving force or hindrance in everyone’s lockdown workout plans, the struggle is common amongst everyone and is not always something that one must tackle on their own.

The guests we were joined by are, Daniel Zahra (Semi-professional footballer and regular gym user) and Hannah Schuman (University student and new gym user), both interviewees provide their experiences in relation to working out through lockdown with both the positives, negatives, what helped them get through, and how they maintained accountability.

Through the relatability and inspiration given from both guests, Daniel and Hannah make for an entertaining and easy to listen to program appropriate for all ages, “We don’t have the resources a gym has, when I’m doing weight sessions, I’m using cartons of milk!” – Says Hannah.

So, to find out what our guests have been doing to find motivation and consistency; as well as the physical and mental benefits of staying on top of their fitness journey through lockdown, tune into the program October 31st, 10am.
